The Daturas

The Daturas are an indie psychedelic folk band from small west country town, Bradford on Avon. They infuse acoustic guitar, pedal steel, Wurlitzer and 3 part harmonies, on top of drivin beats and bass to create a sound like no other that needs to be heard or seen to understand. The band formed early in 2011 and made no delay in making a big impact on the scene. With a large number of festivals, and gigs all over the country last summer, The Daturas learnt to perfect their live sound and performance. In September the band took a few months out from gigging and spend all their free time writing and perfecting new songs, recording and filming and are back and busier than ever booking shows all over the uk. Now signed to Assembly, the guys are set for big things in the near future!

Jess Vincent With Reg Meuross

From Bradford on Avon and widely known for writing the songs for and fronting The Penny Red, Jess has a vast repertoire of songs that are better suited to her solo performances that she delivers with an equal balance of punch and emotion. Of course she also does stripped back versions of her band songs too!

Jess has just completed recording her 12 track debut album ‘Time frame’, produced by none other than Reg Meuross who also features on the album along with Beth Porter, Marcel Rose and Olivia Dunn.  This will be the first chance to hear some brand new tracks from the album as Jess performs her entire repertoire live and up close in our great venue!

Reg Meuross will accompany Jess on some of her new songs and play some of his own beautifully written masterpieces!

You can catch her performing at several festivals and great venues throughout the summer with the band whilst performing regular solo gigs in parallel .
